Peter Allen
Mr. Allen, Partner & Managing Director, is a member of TPI's North American leadership team and TPI's Executive Board. His responsibilities include advisory operations for the CFO Services and Financial Services Operations groups.

Additionally, Peter serves as one of TPI's key thought leaders. He directs the TPI Index, the leading indicator of trends and developments occurring in the global sourcing industry, monitored quarterly by global equity analysts, media and industry observers. He is a frequent speaker at industry events focused on sourcing strategies and trends and is a regular spokesperson for TPI in the media and is often quoted in key business publication such as the The Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek and has appeared on "CNN/fn" and the "NBC Nightly News" as an expert on technology and sourcing trends.

Peter provides counsel to senior executives across a wide spectrum of TPI clients relating to the alignment of service delivery operating models with corporate strategies for enhanced competitiveness. His expertise spans the domains of outsourcing, offshoring, shared services and organizational transformation.

Previous positions within TPI include Chief Marketing Officer and leadership of the company's business process advisory services. With the experience gained from over 25 years of industry participation ranging from service delivery to corporate governance, he provides TPI's clients with perspectives on the relationship of sourcing strategies to corporate objectives, notably including the alignment of overhead expenses with changing revenue circumstances.

Peter joined TPI in 2001, after serving as Chairman, President and CEO of a NASDAQ-listed outsourcing service provider, delivering consulting, data center, software testing and offshore applications services from operations in Ireland.

Previously, Peter spent nine years in senior management positions with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). His last assignment at CSC was as Global Service Delivery Executive for CSC's US$2 billion IT outsourcing relationship with JPMorgan, encompassing more than 2,400 staff across the globe. Previously, Peter served as CSC's lead executive for operations supporting the modernization of the wholesale material management functions of the armed services through the Joint Logistics Systems Center in Dayton, Ohio. He also led initiatives supporting defense and intelligence systems integration programs.

His career began as a member of the Arpanet/Internet engineering team for Bolt Beranek and Newman, Inc. (BBN), where he was responsible for research and development activities and systems engineering related to Internet security, packet switching and performance modeling and simulation. Peter led BBN's business in support of the U.S. intelligence community.

From 2002 through 2007, Peter served on the board of directors for Nautilus Inc., a NYSE-listed marketer, developer, and manufacturer of branded health and fitness products with direct, retail and commercial sales channels worldwide. During this time, he was the Lead Independent Director and Chairman of the company's compensation and nominating/governance committees. He is certified by the UCLA Anderson School of Management's Director Certification Program.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.

 

Duncan Aitchison
As Partner and President of TPI's operations in EMEA, Mr. Aitchison brings deep knowledge of global IT and business process outsourcing markets to TPI's clients. In addition to his comprehensive knowledge of these markets, his experience includes helping corporations increase their revenue growth and market reach through innovative approaches to sales, marketing and new service offerings.

Duncan served as the Head of Global Outsourcing with Capgemini Ernst & Young (CGEY) prior to joining TPI. His position was a culmination of progressively more responsible management roles throughout his 17-year career with the international IT services and consulting firm. In this capacity, he defined and led the firm's global outsourcing business and oversaw major international transactions. Previously, Duncan was responsible for the United Kingdom outsourcing business, which he ran for the three years that spanned Capgemini's merger with Ernst & Young.

A business graduate, Duncan worked outside the IT industry - first in insurance, and then in commercial property — before joining CGEY (then Hoskyns) as a marketing executive responsible for communications, promotions and public relations.

Mike Slavin
Mr. Slavin, Partner and Managing Director CIO Services in North America, brings experience in managing all aspects of IT sourcing and operations to TPI's clients. Mike provides expertise from his extensive career on both the service provider and client sides as he leverages his experience to advise clients, lead assessments and support full outsourcing transactions.

Before joining TPI, Mike was the chief information officer for Peachtree Doors and Windows, where he managed the implementation of new systems and hardware including an e-business solution. During his 10-year career at Electronic Data Systems, Mike held several leadership positions, including Director of Planning for the Hi-Tech Division, Account Manager for Saab USA, Inc., and Account Manager for Axion Pharmaceuticals. While at Price Waterhouse, he led systems development engagements and conducted risk audits for client IT departments. Mike has also worked as an IT consultant for clients that include Chrysler and Citicorp.
